Top 10 Kitchen Gadgets on Amazon
stainless steel wall-mounted grocery bag dispenser
In the first spot, it’s a stainless steel wall-mounted grocery bag dispenser. And if you have a mess of grocery bags like I do under my sink, this is a $21 item I found on Amazon that I’m going to put to the test for you. The nice thing about this stainless steel anti-fingerprint design, is it mounts easily in a pantry or a mudroom, but for the sake of the demonstration, I’m loading it up with all of these plastic bags that are typically out of control.
You just feed them through the top, there’s no need to put knots in them or tie them up like some of the other competing products. And then, with the included adhesive, it mounts in seconds. There is a second adhesive that I’m going to save in the event this ever becomes weak over time, which I highly doubt will be the case given how well-reviewed the product is. I can easily retrieve and reload plastic bags in a split second. It’s convenient, it’s economical, there’s an environmental benefit. Awesome.
Life Changing Paper Towel Dispenser
The second product I want to show you as part of point 1 is a life-changing paper towel dispenser. I don’t think I’ve ever put those words all together in the same sentence. None of these products are sponsored, but for 29 bucks at the time I’m When writing an article, and keep in mind, the prices could fluctuate so if you see something you like,
This allows you to keep your plastic wrap, your aluminum foil and your paper towel all organized, and it also allows you to quickly cut your plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
Pasta Measurer
But, for those of you that watch me frequently, I did work up an appetite, so for the second spot on my Top Amazon Kitchen Finds list, I was ready for a big bowl of pasta.
But I wanted to measure correctly, and if you guys have ever had the experience of boiling spaghetti and never perfecting the portion size whether you’re serving 1, 2, 3, or 4 people, this is a stainless steel spaghetti pasta measurer, but not only helps with portion control, but for everyone that tells you to just measure a fist, well, we all have different sized hands so that’s not always the best advice.
In the case of this spaghetti dinner I’m cooking for myself and my wife, I grabbed what I thought would be the correct portion size but you can see, it fell a little bit short. So, I went back to grab more spaghetti, I measured it out with the stainless steel tool, and then I was ready to rock. For 7 bucks, you score two of these. I’m very frugal and conscious about wasting food in my family. And I will tell you, you could easily hang this or put it into a utensil drawer and it will help you perfect your measurements.

Microwave Cleaner
Number three spot, I had previously tested the Angry Mama Microwave Cleaner, and when I saw that there was a product to help rid yourself of fridge odor and smell, I figured I would put this to the test. Now, for those of you wondering, why would you spend the 9 bucks when you could easily just put a box of baking soda into a fridge or freezer?
You remove Chilly Mama’s hair or wig, and you pour the baking soda into here. You’ll also notice that, built into Chilly Mama’s blouse, you can actually rotate the date so you can see the last time you refreshed the baking soda. It’s super easy to clean, it’s a lot cuter than a box of baking soda, and for nine bucks you don’t need to worry about the spill factor, so I am certainly on board.
Tomato Slicer, Lemon Cutter
the number four spot, it’s a way to forever change how you dice and slice. I don’t know why I did that creepy pose there when I said the word slice, but I’m actually really sloppy in the kitchen. So, let’s begin with this $9 tomato slicer, lemon cutter, that would work with all sorts of other fruits, including kiwi and lime. If you like infusing your favorite drinks with fruit, whether you’re making salads, or for whatever it is you are chopping.
At a first glance, the photo and the product appear to be a little bit deceptive as you think that this is the product that actually slices your fruits or veggies. That’s not the case. This actually holds them in place so you can get those perfect restaurant-quality slices without putting your fingers in jeopardy. This is a great way to protect your fingers, keep the fruits or vegetables in place and get those really impressive cuts that I’d personally never be able to achieve on my own.
Food Chopper
Now, in terms of mincing, chopping, and dealing with things like onion, garlic, and even almonds, which I’ll show you in a moment, for under 20 bucks, this food chopper is a game-changer. It comes with a brush, a brush holder, an easy way to clean and set it up. And once you put whatever it is that you want to cut, mince or dice in the base, you’ll notice on something like almonds, I just press the top down a few times, holding it in place.
The blades rotate, there are no batteries, there’s nothing mechanical. And it gives me these perfectly chopped-up almonds that I would never be able to tackle on my own with a knife. On something like onions, I don’t need to worry about crying or my knife going flying in a different direction because I’ve got tears rolling down my cheeks, which is what happened the last time. Absolutely chopped-up perfection, which is the same with garlic.
If you don’t want to deal with your fingers smelling like garlic or you just don’t want to worry about those precise cuts, this food chopper handles it all. And when you need to clean it, you just pop a tiny part into the dishwasher. And again, you’re not dealing with some huge product that requires power or batteries. This is a great grab for under 20 bucks.
six pairs of wall-mount pot lid organizers
In the number five spot, it’s a six pack- I’m really into it because the six pairs of wall-mount pot lid organizers you see right here for 24 bucks are a great way to better control the mess that’s become of many of our pots and pans collection inside our cabinets.
For the purpose of this demonstration, I went over to my parents’ house to assist them because for the kitchen cabinet that they have closest to the stove, it is in a current state of disarray. So, if you struggle to locate your lids, this is a simple, quick fix that works either inside your cabinet door or in a different spot. if you choose to hang this elsewhere.
But as you can see, this accommodates lids of varying sizes. Here, I’m able to hang up four lids on both sides of the door. I certainly could have done more, but this was my effort to transform things for today into a much cleaner, streamlined setup.
Can Colander
In the number six spot, it’s a can colander for eight bucks. And if you strain a lot of canned tuna, or for fruit and veggies, which I’ll show you in a moment, this attaches to the top of a can and gives you a completely no-mess solution to remove any liquid you don’t want from a can. Instead of gravitating toward those larger colanders that we should typically reserve for spaghetti, that we sometimes use with small cans, there is A solution. No need to clean a large colander or occupy precious dishwasher space.
These ingeniously attach to the top of your can so there’s less room for error, more room for draining. And in my case, since I have serious aim issues when it comes to liquid. That sounded wrong, but I’m referring to the cans, and for those of you that just read my Fast Food hacks article, you’ve seen me spill everything all over my car, so that can colander is a great solution.
Egg Separator
In the number seven spot, well, I’m thinking of fast food and breakfast and eggs, there is an egg separator at a current $6.95 price. That is a game-changer
I do use affiliate links, which means I benefit monetarily if you’re kind enough to use one of my links. Now, speaking of aim, I always inadvertently end up with shells in my omelet. So, there are a few different ways that you can use this.
First, for the simple crack, it does have a cerated edge, so you don’t need to crack on a bowl or a counter. The second thing this product does, which I adore, is it will efficiently separate your egg yolk from your egg white. So, if you’re looking to make an egg-white omelet or you’re baking and you need the white separated from the yellow, you could do that. And the third thing this product does, it will also catch the shell, so that does not end up in your cooking or baking. I also love the way that this attaches to the side of a pan or a bowl, or even a mixing bowl. It’s so simple, but borderline ingenious as far as I’m concerned. Before I get to one of the smartest products you’ll ever see for your sink,
silicone butter and cheese food hugger
in the number eight spot, it’s a way to better preserve things that often go bad in our fridge, whether they happen to be cheese or sticks of butter that we don’t always know how to handle. This is an extremely well-rated silicone butter and cheese food hugger.
You get five of these in different colors that are all packaged inside each other like one of those Russian doll sets. So, you take it out, and for $12.72, I immediately grabbed a stick of butter which was wrapped in a Ziploc bag and not particularly nicely packaged in my fridge.
These differently shaped pieces of silicone will preserve your food by hugging them and ensuring there are no exposed sticks of butter or cheese in your fridge. And by the way, before I show you this in action with cheese, do you keep your butter in the fridge or unrefrigerated on a counter or in the pantry? Please leave me a comment, I would like to see what most people are doing these days. But as you’ll notice, when it comes to different types of cheese that have already been started, this is a quick and easy way to preserve those items and store these in a stackable, color-coded, fun, and frugal way in your fridge.
sink caddy in stainless steel
For the next point on my list, before I get to a smart toaster that will blow your mind, this is a sink caddy in stainless steel that has a better design than I would have realized had I not actually put it into use. This is designed to hold all of your brushes and sponges or Mr. Clean magic erasers that would otherwise leave a ring or residue on your sink or on your countertops.
I think it has a really nice stainless steel finish, and for whatever dishwashing accessories you use, you just pop these beside your sink. And not only does it have a tray to collect all of the drippage, there is this little drip tray at the bottom which also has a pouring spout. So every day, after you accumulate water, you can just pour it into the sink without disrupting any of the brushes or sponges that it houses inside. Given the design and the stainless steel factor, that’s $21 well-spent on Amazon, in my opinion,
5 Pack Glass Storage Jars
Now, for the next product on my list, it is a little bit more expensive than what you might find at a dollar store, but I’ve received many requests from my mom to help organize the pantry. So, I’m gonna return to momma’s house because my wife, a separate person, if that’s not clear, already has every possible storage container already in use in our home, for those of you that were eyeing our fridge. Now, my mom has been hinting that she wants to improve her home organization now that she discovered this new photo-sharing platform called Instagrams, plural.
So, I brought her this modern collection of storage jars from Amazon. They come extremely well-packaged, which was the first thing that I noticed. Very tightly packed in foam, which is definitely not something you always get with Amazon packaging. And I was able to store her spaghetti, these things, which I think are called pasta elbows. And here are the almonds, some of which I borrowed from my mom for that prior chopping demonstration. And then I just used a basic label maker, although she could get much fancier in the future, but things are better organized with this glass storage jar, set of five. And these help you achieve that airtight seal for coffee grinds, any type of baking supplies, cereal, and more.
USA Ice Cube Tray
Now, the next product as part of this point is a very patriotic take on the ice. But even if you already have an ice machine, this is a BPA-free silicone ice cube tray. It’s a map of the U.S. made of ice. And based on the state you end up selecting, you get some really nicely shaped larger pieces of ice.
If you’re a family with younger kids, as I am, I think this is a great learning tool for my three-year-old. My three-year-old daughter already knows that on a really hot day, she needs to lean toward Texas for that perfect ice in her favorite drink.
4 Piece Finger Chopsticks
Now, for the Bonus Buys on my Amazon list, before I get to that truly insane toaster, there’s a four-pack of finger chopsticks advertised for gamers, or really designed for anyone that doesn’t want to get their hands dirty while they consume their favorite snacks. It’s also a nice way to prevent germs if you don’t like the people you’re sharing your food with. $10.95 scores you four of these.
So, I grabbed two of my favorite snacks, popcorn and Doritos, and without any fear of cross-contamination based on how these are built. And you do not need to know how to use chopsticks properly because these are already adjoined. I was able to double fist and feast from the couch wearing one of my favorite outfits to relax in, a shirt, a tie, and a pair of athletic shorts that I purchased for 70% off.
It’s always funny when I wear these because I’m in no way athletic, and I really just use these to lounge around the house and relax. You’ll notice that I’m able, with complete precision, to enjoy my favorite snacks. And if I were to reach for the remote control or grab my smartphone, I’m not going to get any grease or seasoning debris on the products that I touch, including the couch. These were recently featured on Shark Tank, and now I understand why.
Smart Toaster
This next bonus item is definitely a luxury product and it’s not something I would ever usually advocate purchasing, but my wife is a toaster fanatic and I bought this for her this past Christmas when it was selling for a price of 279. So, if you’re interested in the next product, maybe wait for it to go back on sale. But, this is a souped-up, touch screen toaster that allows you to control every element of your toasting needs to an extreme. For the purposes of this demo, which I recorded about a month ago, we usually freeze our toaster bread as a way to remain extra frugal, and like magic,
this smart toaster defrosts the bread. And then as you can see, as I select number five to give it more of that well-done and crispy finish, the toaster goes to work complete with a countdown timer. This system also handles waffles, bagels, Pop-Tarts and more with extreme precision, despite it being a splurge product. And there we have it, thank you so much for reading this article. If you enjoyed this content, please feel free to give it a thumbs up or share it with any other fellow Amazon shoppers. I love you, bye-bye.
